Inspired by a feature film “Holly”, I have become passionate about the huge problem of Child Trafficking for Prostitution. Unicef estimates it effects 2 million kids, aged 5 to 17, mostly girls, whose lives usually are placed in horrible inhumane and deadly jeopardy. The outright sale of these children by their parents happens pervasively throughout the poorest parts of the world .
And for different reasons, child prostitution happens all over the USA as well. We are not immune PBS
Think how many of these little people will survive rape,physical and psychological abuse and, perhaps worse, the almost inevitable scourge of AIDS.
My heart led me to write a song called ” Only An Angel Can Save Me Now”, and collaborate with other singers on this song.
I have here an English version ( co-written by May Ling) and a Vietnamese version ( co-written by MinhTu Van and Julie Nguyen).
I would love for this song to be sung in all the languages around the world.
